M. Müller & Sohn Magazine 09.2022
Professional Magazine for Fashion and Pattern Making // Business trousers // Silvène Hédon // Vocational training without borders // Baker boy cap // Right on trendDeutsch
The magazine specialized in fashion and pattern making is published ten times a year as a turnaround edition with topics on women’s and men’s fashion. The magazine is available for download in English. Each issue of M. Müller & Sohn magazine contains an enclosed sewing pattern.
On the women’s fashion pages, we asked Silvène Hédon, who runs her wedding salon in Nantes, France, and tailors clothes for both women and men for the celebration of love, about her career, style and tricks. The high tailoring is celebrated on the catwalks, and we have compiled an overview of the most exciting dresses that will float down the catwalks in the Couture Fall/Winter 2022 season. In our pattern making section, business trousers provide summer mood and elegance in the office, wide and airy cut, with refined details and deepened crotch for comfort, these trousers are easy to wear even after office hours are over. Vlieseline, a brand of the Freudenberg Group, has been about the business of ensuring the perfect fit, comfort and durability of every garment with its interlinings for more than 70 years, and we give you an overview of the range – for quality from within!
On the menswear pages, we explain how a trend is defined, how it comes about and what it has to do with consumption. Whether you consider traditional costume clothing to be a primal rock of clothing or a passing trend that just lasts through Oktoberfest trend – in any case, traditional clothing is sophisticated and exciting in its tailoring, which is why we have developed five models for you that can be used to create a complete outfit. The «Erasmus+» funding programme offers the option to further your education abroad during or directly after the training period and to gain experience during an internship, and so in this issue we begin with a report on the experience of a young master tailor who spent two month in Italy; in the next issue we will add reports from Sweden, Spain and France. We show how a baker boy cap is neatly finished and how good blouson jackets can look this autumn. We wish you much joy and inspiration with the new issue!
The enclosed pattern contains two bomber jackets for women (in European sizes 36 – 50).
This issue contains 60 pages.
