In this e-dossier you will find instructions for pattern construction of accessories for women.Deutsch
In this e-dossier you will find instructions for pattern construction of women’s accessories from the 18th and 19th centuries.
An authentic historical costume is not characterised solely by period-typical garments such as dresses, skirts, blouses and coats. Rather, it is the understructures such as hoop skirts or hip pads that form the characteristic silhouette, as well as the accessories such as bonnets, collars and belts that complete the style of the respective fashion era. In this year’s pattern technique on the theme of historical fashion, we turn our attention to these very inconspicuous but extremely significant details and present a selection of understructures and accessories from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Please note that our e-dossiers are contents from our pattern making reference books or extracts from our professional magazine.
