On the Designer Look pages of women’s fashion, we focus on the topic of lace. We showcase various techniques and forms of expression for this traditional craft.
For our portrait section, we gain insights from Lea Baltner into her daily work and the special niche she has found: historical clothing for role-playing games. Following this is an interview with Verena Grabher about the world-famous embroidery company HOH Hoferhecht from Austria, giving us insight into the processes behind the scenes of the company. In the pattern-making section, we take a journey into the Empire era. Typical garments are constructed: two dresses, an Empire coat with a lapel collar, and a Spencer jacket. The Pantone Color of the Year 2024, Peach Fuzz, is the focus of attention on the Designer Look pages of men’s fashion, as we explore how this color palette plays out in different product groups. Our report on the Munich Fabric Start trade fair covers future colors, as well as broader trend themes. We summarize the key topics for the 25/26 season. In the pattern-making section, we feature two classic coats, the Paletot and the Ulster. To complement this, we refresh our knowledge of coats with a brief overview of classic men’s coats in the knowledge section.
