The magazine specialized in fashion and pattern making is published ten times a year as a turnaround edition with topics on women’s and men’s fashion. The magazine is available for download in English. Each issue of M. Müller & Sohn magazine contains an enclosed sewing pattern.

On the designer look pages of women’s fashion, we show the latest designs from the international catwalks. The shirt dress takes centre stage in this issue. The symbiosis of shirt, blouse and dress seems to be a source of endless ideas. Here we show you the variety of design options. We then delve into the world of costumes. Costume designer Pia Preuß tells us in an interview what inspires her to work with various theatres and how she designs them. In the pattern technique section, patterns for four blouses with extravagant collars are shown. You will also find step-by-step instructions for draping a dress with a bow in the back.

On the menswear designer look pages, we take a closer look at men´s jackets that can do more than just everyday wear. We show festive, elegant jacket designs with sophisticated pattern designs and elegant, effective fabrics. In the portrait starting on page 8, we introduce men’s tailoring specialist Nico Schneider. Before Nico Schneider decided to become a tailor, he trained as a roofer. He began his training as a bespoke tailor for men in 2017 in the family business. In the pattern technique, we show the grading of an ulster and a high-necked men’s coat. This is followed by an article on the subject of fastenings. In a step-by-step guide, we show you how to make a hook & eye fastener, a yarn latch and a lace fastener with metal eyelets.
